Ever wondered how the flower crown suddenly became such a big deal? The floral contraptions have been around for centuries, but it was after it graced some celebrity heads at Coachella that the item became the number one accessory for festival fashion. There is no denying that the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and other such major events are less about music and more thinly-veiled photo-ops for celebrities to show off their new looks, inducing fashion enthusiasts everywhere to break down the latest trends in the industry. According to this year’s fashion calendar, this season is just getting started- and we’re proud to say that we’ve already spotted a game-changing look from some of our favourite celebrities!

One of the major fashion statements this summer had to be when Rihanna and Amber Rose rocked full-length bodysuits at the Coachella. Bodysuits have been bouncing in and out of our closets for a while now, making their spirited comeback from the 90s and proving to us that they were more than just fancy leotards. Rihanna brought this variation of the trend to the forefront with her diamond encrusted Gucci bodysuit, which became the most talked about outfit at this year’s Coachella. The look was carried on by Amber Rose who stunned fans with her full-length sheer black bodysuit, which she wore bra-less. As though to give a final push to this headline-making trend, model Bella Hadid was seen sporting a sheer black crystal embroided bodysuit at the 2017 Met Gala. Her unique ensemble covered even her black pumps, creating the illusion that they were part of the outfit!

Fashion stylist and consultant, Divyak D’Souza, says, “When it comes to full-length bodysuits, it takes a lot of personality and style consciousness to be able to pull them off in day-to-day life, granted that they work beautifully for stage or costume purposes.” If you’re thinking about blending this look into your daily fashion, D’Souza recommends layering with oversized separates for a nice balance of silhouette. “Perhaps cropped jeans or shorts with a luxe jumper or sweatshirt over... it’s a sports meets glam look might be interesting to see,” he adds.

To address the naturally following question of how to accessorise the look, celebrity stylist, Ami Patel, says “Accessorise in such a way that nothing steals attention away from the bodysuit.” She suggests opting for something subtle like a hand ring or a choker in the case of V-necks. In her opinion, the trend is best suited to people with fit bodies, as it leaves zero room for flaws or flab, while making its statement.Read more at:cheap formal dresses
