Emma Stone may be a natural blonde, but she made her name in Hollywood with shiny red tresses.

Yet at the 2017 AFI Life Achievement Award Gala Honoring Diane Keaton, the La La Land star returned to her roots with a bright blonde make-over, as well as honey highlights.

Emma had her hair styled into her signature loose curls, which Kieran Tudor, expert hair stylist at Remington, explains are relatively simple to recreate.

To achieve consistent curls and waves, Kieran recommends checking out Remington's Curl Revolution.

"Unlike other auto curling tools, the Curl Revolution has an auto rotating barrel, with an opening at the top," he told Cover Media. "This allows you to place sections of the hair in before using the lever to operate the rotating barrel, meaning hair will never get caught or snag!"

Once all hair is curled, use Remington's Keratin Therapy Hair Dryer to smooth your fringe and style to one side. The air flow in the hair dryer will shoot past the grill, helping to smooth and strengthen hair. When it comes to keeping curls in place, a little of the right product is key.

"Recently, I've noticed a lot of people are almost scared of using products, as they fear it may weigh their hair down, which isn't true. However, it's important to use the right products for your hair type and the right amount. Sometimes you only need a small amount for maximum impact," said Kieran.

For volume and hold, he suggests applying a little of Oribe Volumista Mist for Volume spray on the roots and ends of damp hair prior to blow drying.

As well as chic curls, Emma has been rocking an on-trend side fringe. To style this piece of hair, Kieran would first take a small tooth comb to comb hair forward and flatten, whilst directing the air flow from the concentrator nozzle attachment on a hair dryer.

Then he would move the hair forward to each side, to help the fringe sit well.

"Once your hair is dry, use a round brush to bend under the ends of your fringe and to smooth, whilst moving to your desired side - if having a side fringe," the expert added.Read more at:formal dresses canberra
